The current nurse-patient experience for patients can tend to be very impersonal. A patient touches a button, and a faceless voice responds in a speaker next to the bed. When a nurse wants to check in on a patient, another faceless voice session is initiated – this time by the nurse. The alternative is for the nurse to come to the room. This is the better option, of course – except it is not always possible, or practical.
Often nurses are dealing with multiple rooms at a time – on opposite ends of a floor – trying to run back and forth. That’s when mistakes occur. Additionally, when you add isolation conditions with a patient who is infectious, this means getting into gear for the nurse – which is time-consuming for the nurse and expensive for the hospital.
That’s where the QBOX ConnectView comes in.
The QBOX ConnectView provides the staff of the hospital or nursing home/assisted living facility a simple, one-touch means of monitoring patients – visually with sound. It provides the patients (or residents) a similar simple, one-touch means of calling for help – visually with sound. It allows both the staff and patients to initiate one-touch video calls. It allows the staff to send messages to patients.

Fast, reliable, personal and safe, using the QBOX ConnecTab tablets at bedside for the patients, and the QBOX ConnectView portal for the staff. A view of all of the patient/resident rooms a nurse is responsible for is displayed, with color-coding blocks – with audible alerts – that indicate when a patient is calling for help.
